Plot : Bharat Prasad Sharma lives a middle-class lifestyle along with his brother in a small town in India. His brother falls in love with Saraswati and both get intimate. Then Saraswati gets pregnant and both get married. Bharat does not approve of Saraswati and breaks off all relations, even dividing the house into two. Now Bharat is the Deputy Superintendent of Police and is assigned to take charge of a Police Station in a small town that is being ruled by a criminal don and soon-to-be Member of the Legislative Assembly, Dharam Kohli. Immediately upon his arrival he dramatically suspends Inspector Thakur, and arrests Dharam - only to release him due to medical reasons. A frustrated Bharat volunteers to go under cover and expose Dharam. He rents a room with John Fernandes, falls in love with co-tenant, Prabha, and marries her. With Prabha and John's help he gathers enough evidence to arrest Dharam little knowing that Prabha has a secret she kept from him - namely that she was in love with Dharam's goon, Mahesh, who is secretly blackmailing her and now wants her to hand over all evidence to him.

Plot : Brij Mohan (Nitin Sethi) leaves his home in village to live in Bombay. His mother (Durga Khote) prefers to stay alone in their palatial home. Brij gets married. His wife gives birth and passes away soon after. After few years, Brij is an established businessman and his son Montu (Satyajeet) is studying final year in school. He asks Montu to visit his grandmother which he agrees reluctantly provided his friends accompany him. The group is besotted with many problems when they reach the village. His friends return to Bombay, leaving Montu with his grandmother. Montu becomes friends with a precocious village girl Gauri (Nameeta Chandra), an orphan living with her cruel aunt, and two equally cruel cousin sisters. Montu and Gauri's friendship blossoms and they meet regularly. He also meets a struggling farmer Balram (Arun Govil), his mother (Leela Mishra), and his fiancee Kanak (Abha Dhulia). Balram would like to go to city, earn money for his marriage which his mother refuses. Against his expectations, Montu finds village life interesting and promises his grandmother to return the next year.

Plot : In 1943, in the Russian front, the decorated leader Rolf Steiner is promoted to Sergeant after another successful mission. Meanwhile the upper-class and arrogant Prussian Captain Hauptmann Stransky is assigned as the new commander of his squad. After a bloody battle of Steiner’s squad against the Russian troops led by the brave Lieutenant Meyer that dies in the combat, the coward Stransky claims that he led his squad against the Russian and requests to be awarded with the Iron of Cross to satisfy his personal ambition together with his aristocratic family. Stransky gives the names of Steiner and of the homosexual Lieutenant Triebig as witnesses of his accomplishment, but Steiner, who has problems with the chain of command in the army and with the arrogance of Stransky, refuses to participate in the fraud. When Colonel Brandt gives the order to leave the position in the front, Stransky does not retransmit the order to Steiner’s squad, and they are left alone surrounded by the enemy and having to fight to survive.
